As part of the festival Wild Dog Books Publishing Director, Maryann Ballantyne and First Nations cultural awareness educator and Arranyinha Director, Marsha Uppill will present Unconcious Bias and Cultural Respect in Non-Fiction. This informative and challenging workshop runs for three hours on Friday November 20. It will cover cultural appropriation, privilege, how to approach both in writing and so much more. We love Marsha’s statement ‘our cultural journey begins with an awareness of what you don’t know.’
Whether you write fiction or non-fiction this is a workshop for every writer. Two experts in their field sharing their experiences and knowledge. What could be better?
Join Maryann and Marsha for Unconcious Bias and Cultural Respect in Non-Fiction, Friday November 20, 2 till 5pm.
