Wild Dog Books, Sue Lawson and Aunty Fay Muir teamed up with The Little Book Room in Brunswick on Saturday 15th August for the Melbourne launch of Possum Skin Cloak. Sue and Fay are an award-winning authorial team, and together with first time picture book illustrator Leanne Jones, they created Possum Skin Cloak, a gentle story about the tradition of wrapping newborn babies in possum skins at birth. The event included a delightful discussion of traditions and culture, after which Sue and Fay signed books for the attendees.
A huge thank you to all who attended the launch and a special shout out to The Little Book Room for their incredible coordination and support!
