Acknowledgement of Country

Wild Dog books is located on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. In the gardens around our office, ancient pale Manna Gums offer shaded places for lunch on sunny days. The Birrarung winds its way through this Country, giving life to the surrounding lands. Along its banks are Red River Gums where the Currawongs make their homes. They visit us at our office window sometimes, swooping and playing as the weather warms. We appreciate the opportunity to live and work in such a beautiful place and are grateful to the First Nations people who have cared for this Country, its lands, skies and waters, for many thousands of years.

We pay our respects to all First Nations people, past, present and future, and are committed to working collaboratively and ethically to increase First Nations inclusion in the Australian books and publishing industry.
